Location:  Louisville, KY

Salary Range: $60,210 to $93,821 /yr

- Health, Life, Vision, Dental Insurance available
- 10 holidays/year
- 13 vacation days/year (increase to 19.5 after 3 years)
- 13 sick days/year
- Paid overtime

Qualifications:  Mechanical Engineering Degree (ABET accredited) + Experience in HVAC design

Responsibilities:  Building mechanical system design (HVAC, plumbing, utilities, fire suppression, etc.); Review work by others; Construction/commissioning support; On-site trouble-shooting; Existing system assessments.

Account Manager - Industrial Refrigeration Service Sales 
CIMCO Refrigeration has an opening for an organized and enthusiastic sales engineer to provide 
Technical Refrigeration Sales (primarily ammonia-based refrigeration in the food and beverage 
industries), and develop working relationships with both existing and new clients.

Role Responsibilities 
  • Conduct service sales activities within a geographic region consisting of: Kentucky, Indiana, Eastern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin, Southern Michigan, and Ohio (working out of your home base)
  • Continue to develop relationships and expand business with the existing client base
  • Prospect for new business clients and grow revenue each year
  • Provide technical expertise to clients to solve current problems, expand operations, maximize energy efficiency, and plan for equipment change-outs / upgrades to assure reliable 24/7 operations
  • The primary sales focus is selling technician service hours and projects less than $200K – larger identified projects are directed to Cimco’s Construction Division for handling
  • Preparation and presentation of proposals/quotations to clients with thorough follow-up to close the sale
  • Coordinate with Service Management and Technician Dispatch Operations in Mobile, AL to assure quality customer service to clients 
Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications 
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering --- P.E. not required but desired 
  • Strong knowledge of the refrigeration cycle and equipment components --- Ammonia experience is not required (Cimco will develop that knowledge), but certainly an HVAC background is a definite plus if candidate does not have direct refrigeration experience
  • Three or more years of industry related experience, especially in a sales role
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the regional territory as needed, which mayapproach 50% at times (occasional weekend shutdown work may be required)
  • Good communication, organizational, and writing skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software as needed to support the sales process
